Carolina Panthers Injury Report: All But Jones Will Play on Sunday

The Carolina Panthers released their final injury report of the week on Friday in preparation for their game with the Chicago Bears this Sunday. On Wednesday, head coach Dave Canales did us a favor and ended the anticipation surrounding linebacker Patrick Jones II. Jones will not play on Sunday against Chicago and is considered week-to-week with a back injury. Former Bear Trevis Gipson will start in his place against Chicago this week. Defensive tackle Bobby Brown III (back), who was also limited during Wednesday’s practice, was a full participant on Thursday and Friday, and will play this weekend against the Bears. Running back Jonothon Brooks (groin) was a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday. Still, recent reporting leans toward Brooks being available for Sunday’s contest with the Bears , and Brooks being a full participant on Friday confirmed that.
